Mihovk-Rosenacker has been serving the Cincinnati region since 1906 when Charles H. Dhonau became the first liveryman to enter the funeral home business. Continuing to grow in influence under the guidance of his son Harry Dhonau, the business flourished and soon acquired a second funeral director—and Harry’s son-in-law—Frank G. Rosenacker in 1936.
Expanding to a second location in 1953, the Dhonau-Rosenacker Funeral Home family was widely known throughout the region and served families across the Greater Cincinnati area. The original location closed in 1967, and Mr. Rosenacker died a few years later in 1973. His son took over the firm and hired his son in law, Robert D. Mihovk, to work beside him in 1976.
The funeral home was renamed again in 1987 to Mihovk-Rosenacker to reflect the current management and has since expanded again to include a new location in Blue Ash/Sharonville. With more than 113 years of experience, Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home is a cherished part of the community and continues to provide unparalleled funeral and cremation services to families across the Tri-State area.
